TEULADA – MORAIRA
Teulada-Moraira is a municipality of the Valencian Community, located in the northeast of the province of Alicante, in the Region of the Marina Alta and which has about 15,000 inhabitants. Playa del Portet. The Peninsula of Cap d’Or, shelters the cove and the beach of Portet, with fine sand and crystalline waters. On the road from Moraira to Playa del Portet and close to the mouth of the Nautical Club Moraira, we find the remote Cala Portitxol, very suitable for diving and fishing. L’Ampolla. At the foot of the Castle extends the Ampolla, the busiest, urban and extensive of the beaches of the locality. Platgetes. In the many restaurants of Teulada-Moraira, some of them recommended by the prestigious Michelin Guide, you can taste exquisite delicacies, combining traditional cuisine with other nationalities. The fish, with the Bahia Moraira quality mark, captured using traditional fishing gear, offers different and tasty teuladine combinations such as “polp putxero” or “soup of peix” or different salgadas de melva, “bull” or ”Anxova “. Rice is the star of teuladine cuisine, with exquisite dishes such as “arròs a banda”, “arròs amb fesols i naps”, “paella amb sardines y espinacs” or “arròs negre”.
